What is Covered:
The Eight-Week Program is our most immersive and comprehensive Board & Train option, designed to create lasting results and a well-rounded, confident puppy. This program allows ample time to build, reinforce, and polish foundational skills while introducing advanced work in real-world settings. With a focus on consistency, reliability, and distraction training, we address behavioral challenges, strengthen impulse control, and help puppies master skills across a variety of environments. The extended timeline is perfect for families who want their puppy to come home with a solid foundation, excellent manners, and the confidence to thrive in any situation.
Potty Training
The Eight-Week Program provides the time and consistency needed to make significant progress with potty training. We focus on solidifying habits, reinforcing reliable indication, and helping puppies learn to hold their bladder longer based on their development. By the end of the program, most puppies will have strong, established potty routines and will confidently indicate when they need to go out, setting them up for long-term success.
Commands
The Eight-Week Program is ideal for mastering foundational commands like sit, down, stay, place, come, leave it, and more. With extended time for repetition and reinforcement, we introduce advanced work such as duration, distance, and distractions. Puppies will practice commands in various environments, preparing them to respond reliably in real-life situations. If your puppy already knows basic commands, we will polish their skills and introduce advanced behaviors based on your training goals.
Crate Training
During the Eight-Week Program, we build puppies’ comfort and confidence with crate training. Puppies learn to rest for extended periods, sleep through the night, and settle calmly in their crate during the day. The additional time allows us to address separation anxiety or crate anxiety with a patient, gradual approach. By the end of the program, puppies will view their crate as a safe, positive space where they can relax comfortably.
Socialization & Desensitization
The Eight-Week Program allows for thorough, positive socialization and desensitization. We expose puppies to new people, animals, sounds, surfaces, and environments in a controlled and positive manner to build confidence and resilience. For puppies struggling with fear or anxiety, we focus on gradual exposure and confidence-building exercises to help them feel secure in new or unfamiliar situations. By the end of the program, your puppy will be more adaptable, confident, and prepared for the real world.
Leash Training
The Eight-Week Program allows us to build strong, reliable leash skills and take them to the next level. We focus on loose leash walking, “heel,” and leash manners, advancing to real-world distractions in a variety of settings. Puppies will practice walking politely in public, maintaining focus, and responding to leash cues even in challenging or stimulating environments. By the end of the program, you’ll enjoy stress-free, enjoyable walks with your puppy with consistency at home.

Obedience
The Eight-Week Program is designed to instill excellent manners and impulse control in your puppy. We address common behaviors like jumping, barking, play biting, and chewing while teaching appropriate alternatives. Puppies practice making good choices in increasingly distracting environments, helping them learn to remain calm and polite no matter the situation. The extended time allows us to refine these skills and ensure consistency, creating a well-mannered puppy ready for life at home.
